Yes because everyone uses texting and instant messaging now that we have it. I guess they feel that it is an easier way to communicate with other people better than it is to use the phone.
2.) What happens when you want to communicate as fast as possible? (either while texting or instant messaging)
I misspell words, sometimes I miss a word, or I’ll have a run-on sentence.
3.) Do you feel that you use acronyms even when you are speaking? (LOL, JK, ROFL) Why do you use them when you speak?
I try not to use acronyms while speaking but sometime they just come out without me noticing.
4.) After reading some of the work from your peers, do you feel that your writing is similar? Do you forget some of the same things as well?
No, my writing is different because I go back and fix my mistakes. Before I send something, I make sure that it make sense.

I saw that the computer knew most of the word that I typed in.

The computer knew what the words meant.
9.) What is your overall feeling about acronyms after viewing this site?
Acronyms are abbreviation of word that we really don’t want to type out or if we need to get our points across.

It affect students today because they are so used to typing through aim and text messaging, that the instant messaging language has become apart of their English language.
