Staph infection is a bacteria can live harmlessly on many skin surfaces, especially around the nose, mouth, genitals, and anus. There are more than 30 species in the staph family of bacteria, and they can cause different kinds of illnesses — for example, one kind of staph can cause urinary tract infections. Staph Infection can also be called MRSA. Staph bacteria are normally found on the skin or in the nose of about one-third of the population. If you have staph on your skin or in your nose but aren’t sick, you are said to be “colonized” but not infected with MRSA. I feel that this staph infection comes from not be sanitized. There are some people who don’t wash their hands after using the bathroom. The best way to protect yourself is to just try to keep yourself clean as much as possible.

1.) Do you feel that your language skills have been altered at all because of the over use of instant messenger? Why?

Yes because everyone uses texting and instant messaging now that we have it. I guess they feel that it is an easier way to communicate with other people better than it is to use the phone.

2.) What happens when you want to communicate as fast as possible? (either while texting or instant messaging)

I misspell words, sometimes I miss a word, or I’ll have a run-on sentence.

3.) Do you feel that you use acronyms even when you are speaking? (LOL, JK, ROFL) Why do you use them when you speak?

I try not to use acronyms while speaking but sometime they just come out without me noticing.

4.) After reading some of the work from your peers, do you feel that your writing is similar? Do you forget some of the same things as well?

No, my writing is different because I go back and fix my mistakes. Before I send something, I make sure that it make sense.

I saw that  the computer knew most of the word that I typed in.

The computer knew what the words meant.

9.) What is your overall feeling about acronyms after viewing this site?

Acronyms are abbreviation of word that we really don’t want to type out or if we need to get our points across.

10.) How is it affecting students today in classrooms?

It affect students today because they are so used to typing through aim and text messaging, that the instant messaging language has become apart of their English language.

yes because the way we say and write words on the Internet are different from the English Language. We wold spell the word differently but it would mean the same thing.

2. What do you think the pro’s and con’s are of “aim/texting”?

I think the pro’s for aim/texting would be for emergency purposes. The con’s for aim/texting would be that anybody can see them. people really don’t know who is on the other side of that computer reading there messages.

3. What do you think the world was like without these two elements?

I think the world would be struggling because now, people use texting more than they use the phone. Texting is the new thing for communication because you can now communicate without causing a disruption in class, meetings, meetings, and even at work when you can’t be on the phone all the time. you can still get your thoughts or messages to that person with texting.

1. How did you feel about the Dateline clips in general?

 I think Dateline have really good clips because it shows how serious this situation is and how it really goes on with young people.

2. Have you ever seen Dateline “to Catch a Predator”?

 No I haven’t seen them until they were shown in class.

3. Did these Predators look the way you thought they would?

Yea these predators look actually the way i thought they were going to look like. most of them are weird and have weird voices.

4. Did the age of some of these predators come to a shock for you? Why?

No not really because I always thought it was always a bunch of old men who did it.

5. Was there a part of you that felt bad for these predators when they got caught? Why?

No because these predators knew actually what they were doing. they just want you to feel bad for them now that they got caught because if they would’ve never got caught they would have continued what they were doing.

6. What did you notice about how much their character changed when Chris Hansen came out?

their characters changed a lot when he came out because they knew something was going on and that they were caught.

7. Do you really believe that every time some random person asks you to be their friend that they are really the person in the picture?

No because some profiles don’t even have a picture or they would have the picture of a celebrity or something, but i try not to add people that i dont really know.

8. What do you think we should do about Online Predators? How can we stop them?

I don’t think they can be stopped because anyone can sign on to any chat room and start talking to people.

9. Do you think what Dateline is doing is helping patrol online risky behavior?

Yes because it scares the predator because they don’t know if that’s a real teenager or the dateline people.

10. This is a really good topic to cover because there are kids ,even teenagers, that go online to meet and hook up with people  online thinking that the person that they are meeting is a true person.

11. What have you learned from these clips?

I’ve learned not to trust everyone on the Internet, and to always be safe because you never know who you are really talking to on the computer.

Rapper T.I. was arrested on federal gun charges just hours before he was scheduled to perform at the BET Hip Hop Awards. T.I was arrested in a federal sting Saturday after his bodyguard-turned-informant delivered three machine guns and two silencers to him, according to a Justice Department statement. Authorities said that T.I gave his bodyguard 12,000 dollars to buy the weapons, which he is not allowed to own because he is a convicted felon. He was taken into custody about 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Atlanta, where the BET award show was filmed.

If I was a superhero, my name would be Mega girl or something. My powers would be strength, speed and flight. My costume would be orange and blue because those are my favorite colors. I’ll probably be working with the police to help stop crime and stuff.

If I won two million dollars, I would first put half of it in the bank for college and I would spend the rest. I would buy my mom the car she always wanted and I would buy my aunt the car she always wanted. Then I’d see what my grandmother might want then buy her what ever she wanted. After that I would give my cousins about 400 a piece then the rest would be for me. I would buy my mom and I a house in New York because i go there almost everyday and I would love to live there. All of my friends live there, and my life is basically there.

This event takes place in London, England. This article is about a mother who is seeking to have the womb of her severely disabled daughter removed to prevent the 15-year-old from feeling the pain and discomfort of menstruation. The daughter has no say in this at all. The decision is all up the her mother. I feel that the daughter should have a say in whether or not she wants her womb removed from her body. I choose to write about this because it caught my attention and it was very interesting to read.

Anything you put your mind to, you can do it. When some one said anything is possible this means that you can do anything you set your mind to. Most people start things and if it doesn’t work out, they just quit without trying it again.
